Terms of Service

JomMakan is a street-food discovery and information app. You can browse public stalls, search categories, view maps, open navigation links, report status, submit missing stalls, contribute photos, and use merchant tools where you are authorized.

JomMakan is not a delivery, ordering, payment, reservation, emergency, or official business-verification service.

You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account or session. Keep your login details secure and use accurate information when creating community or merchant accounts.

Merchant tools are only for people who are authorized to represent the relevant stall or business. Creating a community account does not make you a merchant, and logging in does not grant admin access.

When you submit stall information, reports, comments, or photos, you should only submit information you believe is accurate and appropriate for a public street-food directory.

You grant JomMakan permission to store, review, display, adapt for formatting, and use your submitted content to operate and improve the app. You still remain responsible for what you submit.

Only upload photos you have the right to share. Do not upload images that are private, misleading, harmful, illegal, offensive, or unrelated to the stall.

Merchant official cover photos and community photos may be moderated differently. Approved community photos may appear publicly on stall pages or as fallback stall images.

JomMakan may approve, reject, hide, edit for formatting, or remove submissions, reports, comments, photos, claims, or account access when needed for quality, safety, abuse prevention, legal reasons, or product integrity.

Approval of a stall, report, claim, or photo does not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or verified.

Street food stalls can move, close, change hours, change ownership, or operate irregularly. JomMakan depends on merchants, admins, and community contributors to improve accuracy over time.

Use your own judgment before travelling to a stall, relying on opening hours, or following navigation links. JomMakan is provided for discovery and informational purposes.

Do not misuse JomMakan. This includes submitting spam, fake listings, duplicate abuse, misleading claims, unauthorized merchant claims, harmful content, private personal information, malicious files, attempts to bypass authentication or moderation, scraping that harms the service, or actions that interfere with the app or other users.

JomMakan uses services such as Supabase, Google OAuth, OpenStreetMap map data, Google Maps links, Waze links, and hosting infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and policies when you use them.

JomMakan is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, JomMakan is not responsible for losses or problems caused by inaccurate community information, unavailable stalls, navigation issues, user-submitted content, third-party services, or interruptions to the app.

We may update these terms as JomMakan changes. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the updated terms.
